Yogagrin® specialises in using yoga therapeutically to  improve the overall wellbeing of adults. This is achieved by reducing physical and emotional pain and tension. If you have other needs then Jan may not be the best solution for you.

Booking and payment information

Yogagrin® offers a limited number of places each year, which can fill fast. So, to avoid disappointment please book your preferred day and time well in advance. 

Bookings are only confirmed once your payment has been received.

All Yogagrin® sessions must be paid for in full prior to participation.

You can choose any of the following payment methods:

  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer
  • Credit card or debit card (you can make your card payment using PayPal — you don’t need a PayPal account to do this)

Yogagrin® offers sponsorship to those facing financial difficulty.

If you would like to apply for sponsorship, please contact Jan with a brief summary of your circumstances. Your personal information will remain strictly confidential.

Sponsorship is offered at the discretion of the Principal.

In general, Yogagrin® doesn’t offer refunds.

General class information

At every Yogagrin® session you can expect to have fun, enjoy yourself and leave feeling good.

New to yoga or yoga therapy? Don’t worry, everyone was new to yoga at some point, including me. You’ll find some things come naturally to you while others may feel a little strange or even uncomfortable. 

That’s ok.

Allow yourself to have these different feelings and emotions but try not to get caught up in them. Understand that it’s taken many years for your body and mind to get where it is today so doing something different may take some getting used to. Have confidence in yourself and know that you will soon see positive change. It just takes time and regular practice. Be kind to and patient with yourself. Enjoy your journey and the whole experience. Your yoga therapist will be there to support and guide you.

Your yoga therapist will do their best to make you feel at ease. If you are unsure of anything, please ask. The only silly question is the one you didn’t ask 🙂

Wear clothing that will allow you to move freely without causing yourself or others embarrassment. There is no need to purchase any special clothing.

Generally we come to the yoga mat/chair with bare feet, but it’s ok to leave your shoes on if you need to. 

When attending one of Yogagrin®‘s general yoga classes or workshops please bring:

  1. A yoga mat (if you don’t have one you can borrow one of our spares until you purchase your own)
  2. A bottle of water (especially in warm weather)
  3. Warm clothing to keep yourself comfortable during the relaxation parts of winter sessions

If you’re new to Yogagrin®, please fill in this registration form and bring it along with you to your first class.

  • Don’t eat a meal for at least 2 hours before your yoga session.
  • Please remember to switch off your mobile phone before every session.
  • Please be on time or a little early for your session time to ensure you will feel settled and ready to begin
